Peter is an engineer employed by a multinational company. He is sent to supervise the<br />
construction of a waste recycling plant on the Greek island of Pera Kassiros, an insignificant<br />
dot on the map somewhere in the Aegean Sea. Peter soon discovers that conditions<br />
on the island are far from what he had expected. For all his efforts he fails and, though<br />
he falls in love with Areti- an extraordinary and mysterious woman- he is forced to leave<br />
the island. However, soon after his return home, Peter finds himself faced with a moral<br />
dilemma: let the multinational company use the plant in Pera Kassiros as a cover for the<br />
dumping of toxic substances, or save the island that has found a place in his heart?<br />
