Vassilis tells the story of his family home in the village, which he is now selling.
Flashback: Vassilis as a boy, being raised, at least in part, by his uncle Kostis. His
father, Manos, is in jail for being a partisan. An American woman named
Pandora arrives in the village, saying she is the daughter of a local woman,
Aphrodite who long ago immigrated to America. Pandora becomes engaged to
Kostis. Manos is released from prison. When Pandora flirts shamelessly with
him, Manos becomes increasingly suspicious of her. Something is definitely not
right.
