Nikolay Kirov Producer’s filmography<br />
Nikolay Kirov is an independent producer with a background in financing and economics. His first film Mila from<br />
Mars, the first independent Bulgarian feature film, won 11 awards, participated in 44 festivals, has 12 nominations<br />
and was the Bulgarian nominee for the Academy Awards. Kirov organised the advertising and PR campaigns<br />
for the film’s theatrical release; both campaigns won the Best National Awards in their fields. The film<br />
was a box office success in Bulgaria – the best selling Bulgarian film for the last 13 years; with the same success<br />
when released on DVD/video. It sold to 5 countries and was broadcast on a number of foreign television channels.<br />
Nikolay Kirov is curently involved in the development of two feature films and the production of a documentary,<br />
to be released March 2006.<br />

In 2002, Kirov Consult (together with All Things) launched the production of the Bulgarian feature film Mila from<br />
Mars, which was later called by Bulgarian media “the revered beginning of the new Bulgarian independent cinema”.<br />
“The film marks the bow of a director to watch” by Variety. It is “full of invention and daring”,FIPRESCI<br />
site. A “wild young cinema” by a Mannheim newspaper. The company aims to be part of the creation of a new<br />
image of Bulgaria’s feature film by the production and distribution - in Bulgaria and abroad - of new Bulgarian<br />
