Born 1978 in Lisbon, and raised by her Canadian mother, Pandora da Cunha Telles comes from a family of<br />
filmmakers. She graduated in International Politics in Lisbon and Granada; five years ago she started working in<br />
the film business with her father in Animatografo. Wounded and Between Desire and Destiny were her first<br />
shorts. In 2003 she produced her first feature film, Loving Maria, a modern comedy about women’s friendship.<br />
As result of this, she was nominated one of the Producers on the Move at the Cannes Film Festival 2004. Kiss<br />
Me followed. With Sleepwalking Land, Mozambique was the next stop. It is a film that oscillates between the<br />
dreams of a lost diary and a Civil War.<br />

Animatografo 2 takes the Latin word anima as a challenge and aims to do films with soul. With the experience<br />
of Antonio da Cunha Telles that has produced more than 200 films since the 60’s and the youthful energy of<br />
Pandora da Cunha Telles, Animatografo 2 is one of the strongest production companies in Portugal.<br />
Animatografo 2 has just finished shooting, in Mozambique, Sleepwalking Land with the support of Arte ZDF and<br />
Ébano. In 2004 it produced Animal, directed by Roselyne Bosh with Studio Legende (Competition at the<br />
Montreal Film Festival) and Hollow City, the first film of Maria Joao Ganga, filmed in Angola, which with Integrada<br />
was presented in more than 20 festivals. Next year, Animatografo 2 will shoot a 19th century mystery in co-production<br />
with Brazil and are preparing a 13 episode series for Portuguese television.<br />
