Every 24 months, the Akademie Schloss Solitude awards grants of 6 or 12 months to qualified
young international artists in all artistic disciplines. The applications for 2007-2009 have to be
submitted between July 1 st and October 31 st 2006. Applicants have to have graduated at least
five years ago.

Schinkel-Progressive is a Berlin based international architects/designers and artists residency
program located in the center of Berlin Mitte. The program provides a studio space for up to 3
months and accommodation for up to 2 months. The program focusses on Architecture, Design,
Media Art, Installation Art, Art Theory, and graduates up to 3 years after graduation as well as 4th
year students and higher, PhD-scholars and academics can apply. Deadlines are June 30 th and
December 31 st of each year.

The CENTRAL Health Insurance Company awards the CENTRAL art prize for international artists
in cooperation with the Kölnischer Kunstverein. The CENTRAL Art Prize enables the awardwinner
to spend half a year in Cologne to work on the realization of a new art project, which will
be presented in summer 2005 in an exhibition at the Kölnischer Kunstverein.
