•Príncipe Pío is located at the heart of the city of Madrid
and Madrid is at the centre of the Iberian Peninsula.
•Madrid traces its origins back to 1083 as the site of
the fortified settlement of Magrīţ conquered by
Alphonse VI of Castile and Leon. In 1561 the town
became the seat of the court of Philip II, the first
permanent capital of the Spanish monarchy, and its
capital and seat of government ever since.

North train station and close to the city’s universities
