Tramsfer Ehart to Indianapolis<br />

The News-Sentinel, Jan. 11, 1937<br />

Friends in this city have received word that Ed Ehart, who was<br />

the manager of the local Armour & Company branch for eight years,<br />

has been transferred to the Indianapolis branch of the company. Mr.<br />

Ehart who was prominent in civic and social activities while a resident<br />

of this city was transferred from the local branch to that of the one at<br />

Fairmount, Minn., in August 1935. Mr. Eharts many friends in this<br />

city are glad to know he has been returned to a post in Indiana by the<br />

Armour Company. The transfer is a promotion.<br />

RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY<br />

John Wilson Transferred<br />

The News-Sentinel, Jan. 12, 1937<br />

John Wilson, who has been employed by the Railway Express<br />

Agency here for the past two and a half years was transferred yesterday<br />

to the office at Iona, Mich. His new position gives him full time<br />

employment. Harold Bailey has taken the position made vacant by Mr.<br />

Wilsons transfer.<br />

ST. CLAIR FILLING STATION<br />

Lloyd Riley, Manager<br />

The St. Clair Filling Station at Akron is now under the operation<br />

of Lloyd Riley. Mr. Riley succeeds Vern Cumberland as manager, of<br />

this popular station.<br />

HONORING RETIRING OFFICERS<br />

At <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Jail<br />

The News-Sentinel, Jan. 16, 1937<br />

Sheriff & Mrs. Lester King entertained the retiring officers of the<br />

court house and jail, Friday evening, at the <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Jail. A<br />

community supper was greatly enjoyed at seven oclock and the<br />

remainder of the evening was spent in enjoying games and contests<br />

with an old fashioned Spelling Bee being the main attaction of the<br />

evening.<br />

Those present were Mrs. Elizabeth Felix, Miss Helen Wilson,<br />

Leonard Garner, Lester Leman, Robert DuBois, William Ward, Misses<br />

Frances Neff and Helen Sausaman, Gene Johnson, Mr. & Mrs. Harlin<br />
