CLEMANS REUNION<br />

The fourteenth annual Clemans reunion was held Sunday, August<br />

30, at the Rochester City Park. At the noon hour a bountiful<br />

community dinner was greatly enjoyed, after which the regular business<br />

session was held and the present officers were re-elected for the year of<br />

1937. A program of interesting talks, clever readings songs and general<br />

reminiscences of pioneer days down to the present time, was also<br />

enjoyed. A letter was read by the secretary from Mrs. Laura Beeber<br />

and Mrs. Emma Clemans Hartman of Los Angeles, Calif, in which they<br />

expressed their regrets for not being present. The oldest person who<br />

attended the reunion was Mrs Alice Secore while the youngest was<br />

Robert Max Smith, who is just four years old. The 1937 reunion will<br />

be held on the same date and at the Rochester City Park.<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> - Akrons one hundredth birthday was celebrated<br />

from Friday, July 3, to Sunday noon, July 5, with a gala program which<br />

brought thousands of visitors to the busy community.<br />
