ANGLEMYER REUNION<br />

Jerry Anglemyer Residence<br />

The News-Sentinel, Aug. 17, <strong>1936</strong><br />

A surprise was given Jerry Anglemyer, by his children, assisted<br />

by Mrs. Margaret Davis, in the form of a family reunion Sunday,<br />

August 16. Dinner was served at the noon hour with Mr. Anglemyer<br />

seated at the head of the table. Mrs. Ua Lewis and daughter, Charlotte<br />

of Oklahoma City, Okla., who have been visiting several weeks with<br />

her sister, Mrs. George S. VanEman of Grand Rapids, Michigan, were<br />

present. Mrs Lewis will be remembered as Mabel Anglemyer, who was<br />

a nurse at Woodlawn Hospital, under the late Dr. H.O. Shafer. Among<br />

the other guests present, were Mr. & Mrs. Edgar Puls, and son Kenneth<br />

and Leonard Dean, and daughter, Mrs. Carl Loker and husband all of<br />

Dalton, Ohio; Mr. & Mrs. Warren Bookwalter and daughter, Pauline of<br />

Logansport; Mrs. Mary Conrad and daughter, Grace, and son, Byron,<br />

Mr. & Mrs Lloyd Craig, Mrs. Agnes Quinn and daughter, Fern, Mr. &<br />

Mrs. Claude Quinn and children, Mr. & Mrs. George S. VanEman of<br />

Grand Rapids, and Miss Katherine Griffith and Harold Bookwalter of<br />

Logansport.<br />

KELLY REUNION<br />

At Laurence Spurgeon Home<br />

The News-Sentinel, Aug. 17, <strong>1936</strong><br />

The Lewis Kelly family reunion was held at the home of<br />

Lawrence Spurgeon Sunday, August 16th. A family dinner was served<br />

at the noon hour and during the afternoon election of officers was held.<br />

Ed Sibert of Churubusco was elected president; Dode Kline of Silver<br />

Lake and F.M. Kelly of Roann were elected vice-presidents, and Clara<br />

Kelley of Roann was elected secretary-treasurer. The next reunion will<br />

be held in the home of Eddie Sibert at Churubusco the third Sunday in<br />

August, 1937. Those present yesterday were Mr. & Mrs. Melvin True<br />

of Rochester; Otto Kelley of Argos; Ed Reuter and family of Peru; Mr.<br />

& Mrs. Clarence Keller of Huntingtonj; Clara Johnson and Mr. & Mrs.<br />

Albert Esterline of Ft. Wayne; Ed Sibert and famiy of Churubusco; Mr.<br />

& Mrs. Dode Kline of Silver Lake; Bennett Ihnen and family of North<br />

Manchester; Cecil and Nora Sibert of<br />
