BEEHLER REUNION<br />

Rochester Tourist Camp<br />

The News-Sentinel, Aug. 5, <strong>1936</strong><br />

The twenty-second annual Beehler reunion was held Sunday,<br />

August 2, at the Rochester Tourist Camp with eighty in attendance., A<br />

community dinner was enjoyed at the noon hour and ice cream was<br />

served later in the afternoon. Officers for the coming year are<br />

President, Lloyd Beehler, Vice President Clyde Beehler; Secretary-<br />

Treasurer, Mildred Miller; Historian, Mrs. Lee Beehler. Charles<br />

Beehler, age eighty-one, received a prize for being the oldest person<br />

present, and Nancy Lee Ershman, age nine months, received the award<br />

for being the youngest member present. Mr. & Mrs. Forest Frederick of<br />

Muncie received a prize for coming the greatest distance and Mr. &<br />

Mrs. H.W. Mow received the Newly-Wed award and the Largest<br />

Family prize went to the Bass family. The next reunion will be held at<br />

the Rochester City Park.<br />

The 12th Annual Day Reunion will be held at the Rochester City<br />

Park, Sunday, August 10th. Members are requested to come early and<br />

bring their baskets of food. Kline D. Reed of Rochester is the President<br />

and Mrs. Eilla Williams of Earl Park, Ind is the Secretary-Treasurer.<br />

Peru Electric Light Plant<br />

The News-Sentinel, Aug. 10, <strong>1936</strong><br />

Wesley Hartman, Peru, a former resident of this city has been<br />

appointed engineer at the Peru Electric Light Plant by Mayor William<br />

Long. He succeeds Jap Ellis. Mr. Hartman at one time was an engineer<br />

at the N.I.P. Co.. Plant in this city.<br />

ROCHESTER COLLEGE REUNION<br />

Rochester City Park<br />

The News-Sentinel, Aug. 11, <strong>1936</strong><br />

Approximately seventy-five old school mates attended the eighth<br />

annual Rochester College Reunion which was held at the Rochester<br />

City Park, Sunday, August 9th. A beautiful community dinner was<br />
