Ditmire and Company of <strong>Fulton</strong> has purchased a new and very<br />

beautiful Packard funeral coach from an Indianapolis company.<br />

FAIRVIEW HOTEL<br />

A busy months preparation has placed the Fairview Hotel and<br />

Dance Pavilion in readiness for the gala opening next Saturday and<br />

Sunday, May 30th and 31st, according to an announcement made here<br />

today by Harry E. Page, owner and operator of The Fairview.<br />

Hal Goodman, Clevelands King of Swing and his NBC<br />

Orchestra, who have been featured in many of the nations outstanding<br />

dance rendezvous including Castle Farm, Cincinnati; The Trianon<br />

Ballrom and Southern Tavern, Cleveland and Louisvilles most<br />

exclusive Greyhound Club, have been engaged for the two opening<br />

nights. - - - -<br />

COLONIAL HOTEL<br />

Cotton Club Orchestra, this week end.<br />

Les Wilcox and his Cotton Club Golden Casino orchestra of<br />

Chicago, open the dance season of the Colonial Hotel and Gardens this<br />

week end. This all-colored band which has been heard over the<br />

countrys largest radio networks is said to be one of the hottest musical<br />

agregations in the mid-western states. A special floor show, starring<br />

Ann Taylor and Irene Bragg will be presented during the Saturday night<br />

program. - - - -<br />

H.M.C. CAFE PURCHASED<br />

Mrs. Nora Sands has sold the H.M.C. Cafe in Akron to Mr. &<br />

Mrs. Everett Showalter. Mrs. Sands will be retained as a cook by the<br />

purchasers.<br />
