Purchased by Mr. & Mrs. Myron Berkheiser<br />

Mr. & Mrs. Myron Berkheiser, of Bremen, formerly of this city,<br />

purchased the Miller Food Market, an I.G.A. Store, yesterday from Mr.<br />

& Mrs. A.F. Miller. Mr. Miller, who has been in ill health for several<br />

months, is retiring on account of his health, but will continue to make<br />

his home in this city.<br />

Mr. & Mrs. Berkheiser have many friends here. Mr. Berkheiser<br />

has been manager of a Kroger Store in Bremen for the past five years.<br />

Previous to that he was employed in the Rochester Kroger and<br />

Rochester A. & P. Stores. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. M.E.<br />

Berkheiser, near this city. Mrs. Berkheiser was formerly Miss Helen<br />

Chamberlain, daughter of Mrs. Mary Chamberlain of Rochester. She<br />

has meny friends here, as she was employed for many years in the<br />

Mercer Insurance Office.<br />

Assisting Mr. & Mrs. Berkheiser will be Conde Holloway and<br />

George Fleegle of Akron. Mr. Fleegle comes well recommended as an<br />

experienced meat cutter, formerly having been employed by C.E. Fleck<br />

and son at Akron.<br />

ERIE HOTEL<br />

Leased by Mr. & Mrs. Reub Carr<br />

Mr. & Mrs. Reub Carr have leased the Erie Hotel and will<br />

operate the same. They have reopened the lunch room and will serve<br />

meals and short orders at all times of the day and night. The Erie hotel<br />

and lunch room have been closed for several months.<br />

The North End Trading Center has its nucleus at the intersection<br />

of North Main and 4th Street with the trading area extending a block in<br />

every directin from this focal point. Each week the members of this<br />
