and Pathe film companies while photographers were present from<br />

the National Editorial Association and Wide World Photo Company.<br />

Rebuilt by Eldo Shafer<br />

Eldo Shafer who resides at Lake Nyona has rebuilt his vaudeville<br />

company for the coming summer and its personnel now includes<br />

twenty-five artists.<br />

The company is now practicing in Detroit, Michigan and will<br />

play during the summer months in cities in the central states. One-third<br />

of the cities visited are return engagements.<br />

During the past two months the company played one engagement<br />

in Detroit where they were sponsored by a well known auto company.<br />

This car manufacturer will present Mr. Shafer in a blindfold auto<br />

driving contest at the Indianapolis Speedway at the time of the 500 Mile<br />

Race.<br />

Mr. Shafers troupe is titled the Eldorado Vaudville Company<br />

and features music, singing and magic numbers.<br />

Glen Wilson, operator of two elevators in <strong>Fulton</strong> county, has<br />

bought controlling interest in Anchor Milling Co., for many years<br />

owned and operated by the late Clarence Viers.<br />

Mr. Wilson plans to add new machinery and bring the plant up to<br />

capacity productions. Complete reconditioning of the plant is in<br />

progress now.<br />

The mill now grinds flour and corn meal and Mr. Wilson plans to<br />

add pancake flour to the production schedule.<br />

Mr. Wilson now has contracts with jobbers over the midwest who<br />

will take the capacity output of the mill. The same staff will be<br />

employed.<br />
