TENDER EXTENSION NOTICE
[No. 14/10/Plan (UGC)]
No. A3-2011/10. 14th October 2010.
Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of
Waterpurifier, Waterpumping Motor, Weed Cutting
Machines etc. to Government Brennen College,
Dharmadam, Thalassery under UGC Scheme Special grant
for enhancement of initiatives for capacity building in
Colleges for a Total Amount of Rs. 2,00,000.

The tenders should be superscribed as “Tender No.
14/10 (UGC)” for the supply of Water Purifier, Water
Pumping Motor, Weed Cutting Machines etc. and
addressed to the Principal, Government Brennen College,
Dharmadam, Thalassery-6. Sale of tender form will be
closed on 20-11-2010 at 2 p. m. and the last date for
receipt of tender form is 20-11-2010 at 3 p. m. Late tenders
will not be accepted. Tenders will not be opened on
20-11-2010 at 4 p. m. in the presence of such of the
tenderers or their authorised representatives who may
present at that time.
Intending tenderers may on application to the
Principal, Government Brennen College, Dharmadam,
Thalassery-6 obtain requisite tender form on which the
tender should be submitted. The cost of the tender form
is Rs. 420. Application form should be accompanied by a
cash remittance of Rs. 420 at the Office or by Money
Order which is the price fixed for a form and it is not
refundable under any circumstances. Cheques, Postage
Stamps, Postal Orders, Demand Drafts etc. will not be
accepted towards the cost of tender forms. Forms will not
be sent by V. P. P. Tender forms are not transferable.
Every tender should be accompanied by an Earnest
Money Deposit @ 1% of the total cost of the articles
tendered for. This is subject to a minimum of
Rs. 30. Tender form if required by post an additional
amount of Rs. 40 should be sent.
An agreement executed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth
Rs. 100 is to be submitted along with the tender. Kerala
Stamp Paper will be supplied to the tenderers outside the
State in case they required for the same and remit by
Money Order an additional amount of Rs. 120 (Rupees
hundered for stamp paper and 20 for incidental expense).
Duplicate tender form if any required will be issued at
Rs. 210 per copy only to those who purchased the original
tender form.
The Principal reserves the right to accept or to
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason
thereof.
