For more than 18 years, Mindy Terry has successfully<br />
helped establish and grow some of<br />
the world’s most notable spas. As a respected<br />
presenter and educator, Terry’s vast knowledge<br />
of the spa and wellness industries stems<br />
from developing, opening and operating leading<br />
spas as well as consulting on the development<br />
of luxury destination, resort and day spas around the world.<br />
As the Founder and President of Creative Spa Concepts, Mindy Terry<br />
works with clients in the United States, Mexico, South America, the<br />
Middle East, Egypt and the Caribbean. Creative Spa Concepts’ consultants<br />
represent more than 100 collective years of experience in the<br />
wellness and hospitality industries. Under Terry’s leadership, Creative<br />
Spa Concepts stands out from all other spa consulting firms because<br />
each consultant has developed, led or been an integral part of guiding<br />
spas to national “Top Ten” status including the rankings in Condé<br />
Nast Traveler, Luxury SpaFinder and spa magazines.<br />
Before creating Creative Spa Concepts, Mindy Terry was on the<br />
executive development team and served as spa director for Aquae<br />
Sulis Spa in Las Vegas. Shortly after opening, The Wall Street Journal<br />
named Aquae Sulis as a Favorite Spa and USA Today chose it as<br />
one of North America’s Top Ten Spas. During her tenure at Aquae<br />
Sulis, Terry conceptualized and developed the United State’s first<br />
Hydrotherapy Water Circuit as well as a signature line of products<br />
that was featured in Cosmopolitan. She also has extensive product<br />
development and marketing knowledge. She previously worked<br />
with Phytomer Corporation where she prospected and assisted with<br />
negotiating large accounts including those with Elizabeth Arden Red<br />
Door Salons & Spas and Euphoria Salons, Spas & Schools.<br />
As a spa expert, Mindy Terry has appeared on FOX, NBC, ABC and<br />
CBS and has been quoted in leading publications including HOTELS,<br />
Cosmopolitan and SmartMoney. Terry currently serves on the Advisory<br />
Board for the Las Vegas Spa Association and, as a member of the<br />
International SPA Association, she co-authored the Standard Operating<br />
Manual. In addition to leading Creative Spa Concepts, Terry is<br />
also a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician, yoga instructor, makeup<br />
artist and certified infant massage instructor.<br />

work in corporate America, a figure expected to hit 58 million<br />
by 2014. After more than 18 years of training at least 1,000 wellness<br />
and spa professionals, Mindy Terry has worked alongside the various<br />
generations, learned from each and figured out ways to help<br />
them work together effectively. She will help you sort out the best<br />
ways to manage and engage Millennials; how to build an effective<br />
team composed of multiple generations; and how to maintain your<br />

A 20 year veteran of luxury spa hospitality,<br />
he is a Registered Nurse and massage<br />
therapist. His work has included the creation<br />
of the Andrew Weil, M.D. Integrated Wellness<br />
Center and the completion of The Villas at<br />
Miraval, one of the fastest selling luxury lifestyle real estate projects<br />
in the U.S. He was a founding member of the New York Spa Promotion<br />
Alliance, 2007 New York State Hospitality Association’s Executive<br />
of the Year, and currently is Vice Chairman of the Board for the<br />
International Spa Association (ISPA).<br />
