tablet some o<strong>the</strong>r victim <strong>of</strong> Juliana's charms, perhaps Leos<strong>the</strong>nes or Pius, curses <strong>the</strong><br />

fair Juliana herself because she does not requite his love, and curses also her lover<br />

Polynicus. Polynicus, <strong>the</strong>refore, may have been <strong>the</strong> writer <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> first tablet.<br />
