4.7 Sanolin dyes The Sanolin dyes are especially used for the coloration of home and fabric care products in liquid, paste or powder form (e.g. hard surface cleaners, laundry powders). They are easily dissolvable in water. Selected grades are also suitable for the coloration of cosmetics (e.g. shower gel). The Sanolin powder and granular grades are exposed to low dose gamma irradiation and thus meet the strict Colour Colour Name Index Index No. Sanolin microbiological standards of the detergent industry. 4.8 Other water soluble dyes This group of dyes comprises the Drimaren reactive dyes, Lanasyn dyes, Nylosan acid dyes and Optilan dyes Selected dyes from these ranges can, on request, be recommended for coloring detergents, cleaners as well as for wood stains. 4.9 Aluminium and Sanodal dyes The Aluminium and Sanodal dyes are water-soluble anionic dyes that are used for coloring anodized aluminium. Uses For the majority of consumer articles, e.g. household articles, ornaments, machine parts, optical instruments, multicolored signs, interior furnishing articles etc. both Aluminium and Sanodal dyes are used. The Sanodal dyes are available for articles that have to meet the highest standards (high light fastness, weathering resistance and corrosion resistance). This affects mainly articles that enhance exteriors.
