4 Dyes<br />
4.1 Hostasol dyes<br />
The Hostasol grades are fluorescent dyes that are used<br />
in polystyrene (PS), styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN), acrylonitril-butadiene-styrene<br />
(ABS), polycarbonate (PC),<br />
polyester (PET/PBT), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)<br />
and unplasticized PVC.<br />
In low concentrations, transparent colored material<br />

Hostasol<br />
exhibits strong edge fluorescence; brilliant shades are<br />
also obtained in reductions.<br />
The Hostasol dyes have excellent resistance to heat and<br />
migration in the recommended polymers and good light<br />
fastness in transparent colorations.<br />
When used in food packaging, observe regional legislation<br />
(see page 3).<br />
