3.5.1 Cosmenyl gran.<br />
These pigment preparations are supplied in granular form.<br />
They are dust-free, show high flow capability, and are suitable<br />
for aqueous systems.<br />
Cosmenyl gran. preparations are used for the coloration of<br />
cosmetic products (e.g. tooth paste, soap, or mascara), laundry<br />
powders, finger paints and other consumer products.<br />
The basic pigments of the preparations listed below comply<br />
with the requirements for cosmetic colorants defined by<br />
the European Union in the Cosmetic Directive 76/768/EEC.<br />
This directive is valid for all countries of the European<br />

The directive defines an application field for each colorant.<br />
1 allowed in all cosmetic products<br />
2 allowed in all cosmetic products except those intended<br />

3 allowed exclusively in cosmetic products intended not<br />
to come into contact with the mucous membranes<br />
4 allowed exclusively in cosmetic products intended to<br />
come into contact only briefly with the skin<br />
