1.4 Hansa pigments
The Hansa Yellow pigments are noted for very good light
fastness. Use of the Hansa Red grades should be
restricted to full-shade colorations. The Hansa pigments
do not have adequate fastness to overpainting. They are
not suitable for stoving paints. They are standard pigments
for air-drying paints.
The Hansa pigments also have excellent light fastness in
printing inks. But they are not fast to overpainting or

resistant to stoving and sterilization. The pigments are
noted for very good rheological properties.
