4.1.3.1 Polar polyethylene waxes
Polar polyethylene waxes are produced either by oxidizing
polyethylene wax or by oxidative decomposition of
polymer grade polyethylene. This results in the range of
polar, emulsifiable polyethylene waxes.

4.1.3.2 Polare polypropylene waxes
Polar polypropylene waxes can’t be produced via an
oxidation process.
Polar polypropylene waxes are manufactured by grafting
PP waxes with maleic anhydride or reactive silanes.
The trade name is an indication for the manufacturing
process of the raw material. Licocene mark raw materials
via the metallocene process, Licomont is an indication
for a raw material from the Ziegler or another process.
