User defined focal lengths <strong>for</strong> the Kth radial zone (note:<br />

the focal length = 1/2 radius of curvature ; XFOCAL(K) is<br />

the focal length in units of tower heights / THT in<br />

namelist REC) in the I,, direction and YFOCAL(K) is in the<br />

j,, direction.<br />

Default: XFOCAL = 13*6.00<br />

Control parameter <strong>for</strong> more accurate heliostat images<br />

during per<strong>for</strong>mance only calculations:<br />

= 0, regular images;<br />

= 1; separate image generated from each cant<br />

panel instead of a single image from the whole<br />

heliostat. This significantly increases the<br />

running time. This option can only be used with a<br />

per<strong>for</strong>mance calculation and cannot be used in<br />

design optimization calculations.<br />

Constraint: INDC = 0 <strong>for</strong> a design calculation<br />

IAUTOP = 0 (Namelist REC) if INDC = 1<br />

ICANPL = 1 if INDC = 1<br />

Default: INDC = 0 (1II.F-1 ,VI.A-5)<br />

Parameter controlling overlapping of shadowing and<br />

blocking:<br />

= 0, no overlap. Most conservative assumption<br />

as shading and blocking losses are maximized.<br />

= 1, complete overlap. Lower bound on shading and<br />

blocking losses.<br />

Default: ISB = 0 (1II.E)
