Dust Cover Assembly 

Corrosion and impact resistant ABS plastic cover in 

Safety Yellow for use on most eye, eye/face wash and 

combination models that use a stainless steel or ABS 

plastic type receptor and push flag activation. Protects 

the eyewash orifices as well as the bowl. Pushing the 

flag valve raises the dust cover and activates the eyewash. 

When closed, it protects the eyewash bowl area 

against heavy dust particles, metal fillings or other 

airborne particulates. Assembly is adaptable to most 

existing models and all new units which operate a 

push flag activated valve. 



Dust Cover Assembly 

22 gauge stainless steel for use on most eye, eye/face 

wash and combination models that use a stainless 

steel type receptor and push flag activation. Protects

tempering of flushing fluids for emergency equipment. 

Suitable for multiple eye or face wash fixtures

shuts off all incoming hot water should cold water

■ Model W9203 MixSafe/mixing valve 

Eye/face wash tempering water blending valve. 

The MixSafe thermostatic mixing valve is specially 

designet to temper water for use with safety eye/face 

washes, with a high capacity flow rate. 

The MixSafe thermostatic mixing valve is factory set 

at 25°C. The temperature is adjustable on site during 

commissioning via the adjustment screw on the unit. 

In the event of a breakdown in supply on the cold 

water side, the valve will automatically shut down the 

flow of hot water to the safety eye/face wash unit. On 

the other hand if a breakdown in supply occurs on the 

hot water side, the valve will go into bypass mode, 

(failsafe) and continue to deliver cold water to the 

safety eye/face wash unit. 

The MixSafe is constructed of bronze, brass, copper 

and stainless steel materials. The valve is supplied 

complete with two strainers to prevent debris entering 

the mixing valve.
