Preventive Maintenance<br />
The Preventive Maintenance is carefully designed to keep<br />
the Mastercycler ep realplex in the best condition. The<br />
services include the following—cleaning of the instrument’s<br />
surface and block, a functional test of the thermoblock with<br />
a temperature validation, as well as a full system check with<br />
background calibration.<br />
Color Calibration<br />
A dedicated color calibration protocol is carried out by the<br />
service specialist. Based on this recalibration procedure the<br />
last issued certificate is updated.<br />
Validation Assay<br />
The validation assay is based on a qPCR run with<br />
specifically designed primers and DNA templates to cover<br />
all major performance aspects such as dynamic range and<br />
repro ducibility. Based on this validation protocol the last<br />
