Mastercycler® ep realplex<br />
‡ Endpoint<br />
The analysis module option for endpoint<br />
measurements instructs Mastercycler ep<br />
realplex to serve as a “plate fluorometer”<br />
and aids in the determination of absolute<br />
fluorescence intensities, even with samples<br />
previously amplified on standard thermocyclers.<br />
‡ +/– Assay<br />
Define critical threshold values through this<br />
analysis module option to differentiate between<br />
positive and negative samples (e.g., for the<br />
detection of pathogens). Data from previous<br />
endpoint measurements serves as the source<br />
for such determinations.<br />
The Mastercycler ep realplex software includes various analysis modules making this system versatile and ideal<br />
for multiple applications. Protein characterization can now be added to this list; with the use of our “Inverted Data”<br />
tool all protein reactions can be easily evaluated with our system (see images below).<br />
‡ Protein Characterization<br />
Inverted data flips the negative peaks so the threshold is no longer below zero and the data may be properly evaluated.<br />
