Mastercycler® ep realplex<br />
<strong>Eppendorf</strong>’s Mastercycler ep realplex software is intuitive and<br />
user-friendly. The Windows ® -like interface allows for a clear<br />
and comprehensive organization of multiple viewing windows.<br />
The Plate layout screen is designed like a 96-well PCR plate<br />
making labeling and identification easy. This screen also<br />
provides a helpful “Hint” box in the bottom corner making<br />
set up simple for users of any level. Once your experiment<br />
has begun the Monitoring screen allows you to visualize the<br />
results in real-time as they appear, and you can interrupt the<br />
run once the desired results have been obtained!<br />
‡ Plate layout<br />
The clear and comprehensive organization of<br />
multiple viewing windows, as well as intuitive<br />
options for selection within each view, enable<br />
easy and fast plate setup when creating assays.<br />
‡ Quantification/relative quantification<br />
This analysis module performs calculations<br />
from raw data for a variety of assays, including<br />
absolute quantification of DNA or relative<br />
quantification of gene expression based<br />
on the ADCt method.<br />

This software module displays the generated<br />
raw data in real-time, which means that you<br />
can immediately evaluate your real-time PCR<br />
and interrupt the reaction as soon as the<br />
desired result is obtained.<br />
‡ Gene identification<br />
Selecting this analysis module option generates<br />
allele-discrimination results. Data previously<br />
generated in melting curve analyses, endpoint<br />
measurements or Ct-value determinations<br />
serves as the basis.<br />
