Libelle at SAPPHIRE ® NOW and SAP TechEd, Madrid 2012
Basis-Solutions in Support of SAP ® Solutions
Stuttgart, October 22, 2012 – Libelle SystemCopy, especially the new versions
for System z and System i, and Libelle BusinessShadow are the focus of the
Libelle presentation at SAPPHIRE ® NOW and SAP TechEd being held in Madrid,
Spain, November 13-16, 2012. In addition to the versions for Linux, UNIX
and Windows, Libelle SystemCopy for System i and System z now supports
SAP ® system environments on medium and large systems.
System copies are often seen as complex, time consuming and blocking key
staff capacity due to the large amount of manual intervention. Libelle Syste
Copy provides rapid and automated execution of SAP system copies and reduces
the execution time and the error rate enormously.
In addition, the Libelle AG software solutions are appreciated in almost every
industry for the availability and rapid recovery of database environments,
especially with the solutions to protect against logical errors. Libelle Business
Shadow is supplemented by the asynchronous database mirroring hardware
side protection mechanisms such as RAID and snapshot technologies. Especially
with logical errors, such as the accidental deletion of database content
by the user, RAID and snapshots do not provide any protection because the
error would be distributed in shortest time on redundant drives. However, the
Libelle solution can recover the last valid state of the database due to the
time-delayed storage of database transactions.
Another focus of Libelle AG presentations is the service portfolio around basissupport/-services
for SAP solutions and system management tasks.
