SEC. 1120-a2. Black bass—sale prohibited—exception.
1 It shall be unlawful to buy, sell, or barter, or offer to buy, sell or
2 barter, any black bass, whether caught or taken within or without
3 the state, or lawfully or unlawfully taken, except that such black bass
4 of one day's catch, lawfully taken, may be sold to and bought by an
5 individual for his family consumption in the locality where so law-
6 fully taken.

SEC. 1120-a3. Black bass—when possession prohibited.
1 It shall be unlawful for any commercial institution, commission
2 house, restaurant or cafe keeper, or fish dealer, to have in possession
3 any black bass, whether caught or taken within or without the state,
4 or lawfully or unlawfully taken.

SEC. 1120-a4. Violation—penalty.
1 Any person who shall be found guilty of violating any of the
2 provisions of the three preceding sections shall be fined not less than
3 ten dollars for each offense.

SEC. 1124. Game protected—penalty.
1 No person shall trap, shoot or kill any pinnated grouse or prairie
2 chicken between the first day of December and the first day of Sep-
3 tember next following ; any woodcock, between the first day of January
4 and the tenth day of July ; any ruffed grouse or pheasant, wild turkey
5 or quail, between the fifteenth day of December and the first day of
6 November ; any wild duck, goose or brant, rail, plover, sandpiper and
7 marsh or beach bird, between the fifteenth day of April and the first
8 day of September; or any gray or fox squirrel or timber squirrel,
9 between the first day of January and the first day of September ; and
10 it shall be unlawful to kill any quail prior to November first, nineteen
11 hundred twenty-seven.
12 Shooting or killing quail on the public highway shall be in viola-
13 tion of law. No person shall kill or attempt to kill any of the birds
14 mentioned in this section from any artificial ambush of any kind or
15 with the aid or use of any sneak boat or sink box or from any sail-
16 boat, gasoline or electric launch or steamboat, or any other water con-
17 veyance, except as propelled by oar or paddle, or other device used
18 for concealment in the open water, nor use any artificial light, battery
19 or other deception, contrivance or device whatever, with the intent to
20 attract or deceive any of the birds mentioned in this chapter, except
21 that decoys may be used in hunting wild geese and ducks, but no
22 person shall at any time hunt or shoot from any boat, canoe, contriv-
23 anee or device whatever on any of the waters of this state between
24 sunset and sunrise. No person shall trap, shoot or kill any prairie
25 chicken prior to the year nineteen hundred twenty-seven. Any person
26 violating any of the provisions of this section shall be held guilty of a
27 misdemeanor and punished as provided for in section eleven hundred
28 thirty-one of the compiled code, and in addition thereto for use of any
29 ambush, sink box, sneak boat or other water conveyance, prohibited
30 by law, on the waters of this state, a fine of not less than twenty-five
