Tit. IV, Ch. 26. COMMISSIONERS IN OTHER STATES. §§ 683-a9-690.
1. For all state officers, boards, departments, commissions and
institutions, to be filed with the auditor of state, except that duplicate
inventories of property under supervision of the board of control and
board of education shall be filed in the respective offices of said
boards.
2. For counties, cities, including cities acting under special
charter, towns, townships, school corporations, and public libraries,
with the county auditor of the county wherein such city, town, township,
school- corporation or public library is situated.

SEC. 683-a9. Duty of state and county auditor.
It shall be the duty of the auditor of state, and of the county
auditor, to see that the inventories and statements herein required to
be filed are so filed in their respective offices.

SEC. 683-alO. System of books, blanks, etc.
The auditor of state is hereby authorized and directed to formulate
and prescribe a system of books, blanks, records, vouchers,
receipts, etc., for use of all the public offices or officers herein mentioned,
which system shall be adopted and used by officers and offices
mentioned in this chapter.

SEC. 683-all. State auditor to furnish forms.
1 The auditor of state shall, as soon as practicable after the same
2 have been prepared, furnish each office or officer affected by this chap-
3 ter with a complete set of all forms prescribed under the provisions
4 of the preceding section, and the expense thereof shall be paid in the
5 same manner as other like expenses of the office of the auditor of state.

SEC. 683-alS. Failure to file inventory—penalty.
1 Any officer or officers having the care, custody, control or manage-
2 ment of public property herein mentioned who neglect or fail to file
3 said inventory, or supplemental inventory as herein required, shall be
4 subject to removal, dismissal or discharge by the proper authority.
