16 11. For issuing execution or other process after judgment or de-<br />

17 cree, fifty cents.<br />

18 12. For filing and properly entering and indorsing each mechan-<br />

19 ic's lien, one dollar, and in case a suit is brought thereon, the same to<br />

20 be taxed as other costs in the action.<br />

21 13. For certificate and seal, fifty cents.<br />

22 14. For filing and docketing transcript <strong>of</strong> judgment from an-<br />

23 other county or a justice <strong>of</strong> the peace, fifty cents.<br />

24 15. For entering any rule or order, twenty-five cents.<br />

25 16. For issuing writ or order, not including subpoenas, fifty cents.<br />

26 17. For issuing commission to take depositions, fifty cents.<br />

27 18. For entering sheriff's sale <strong>of</strong> real estate, fifty cents.<br />

28 19. For entering judgment by confession, one dollar.<br />

29 20. For entering satisfaction <strong>of</strong> any judgment, twenty-five cents.<br />

30 21. For all copies <strong>of</strong> record, or papers filed in his <strong>of</strong>fice, tran-<br />

31 scripts, and making complete record, ten cents for each hundred<br />

32 words.<br />

33 22. For taking and approving a bond and sureties thereon, fifty<br />

34 cents.<br />

35 23. For receiving and filing a declaration <strong>of</strong> intention and issuing<br />

36 a duplicate there<strong>of</strong>, one dollar. For making, filing, and docketing the<br />

37 petition <strong>of</strong> an alien for admission as a citizen <strong>of</strong> the United <strong>State</strong>s<br />

38 and for the final hearing thereon, two dollars; and for entering the<br />

39 final order and the issuance <strong>of</strong> the certificate <strong>of</strong> citizenship there-<br />

40 under, if granted, two dollars.<br />

41 24. In addition to the fees required in paragraph twenty-three,<br />

42 the petitioner shall upon the filing <strong>of</strong> his petition to become a citizen<br />

43 <strong>of</strong> the United <strong>State</strong>s, deposit with and pay to the clerk <strong>of</strong> the court<br />

44 a sum <strong>of</strong> money sufficient to cover the expense <strong>of</strong> subpoenaing and<br />

45 paying the legal fees <strong>of</strong> any witnesses for whom he may request a<br />

46 subpoena, and upon the final discharge <strong>of</strong> such witnesses they shall<br />

47 receive, if they demand the same from the clerk, the customary and<br />

48 usual witness fees from the moneys which the petitioner shall have<br />

49 paid to such clerk for such purpose, and the residue,.if any, shall be<br />

50 returned by the clerk to the petitioner.<br />

51 25. For certificates and seal to applications to procure pensions,<br />

52 bounties or back pay for soldiers or other persons entitled thereto, ten<br />

53 cents.<br />

54 26. For making out transcripts in criminal cases appealed to the<br />

55 supreme court, when the defendant is unable to pay, for each one hun-<br />

56 dred words, ten cents, to be paid by the county.<br />

57 27. In 'criminal cases, and in all causes in which the state or<br />

58 county is a party plaintiff, the same fees for same services as in suits<br />

59 between private parties. When judgment is rendered against the de-<br />

60 fendant, the fees shall be collected from such defendant. Where the<br />

61 state fails, the clerk's fees shall be paid by the county.<br />

62 In addition to the foregoing, he shall charge and.collect:<br />

63 28. For issuing marriage licenses, one dollar each.<br />

64 29. For all services performed in the settlement <strong>of</strong> the estate <strong>of</strong><br />

65 any decedent, minor, insane person, or other persons laboring under<br />

66 any legal disability, except where actions are brought by the adminis-<br />

67 trator, guardian, trustee or person acting in a representative capacity<br />

68 or against him, or as may be otherwise provided herein, where the<br />

69 value <strong>of</strong> the property <strong>of</strong> the estate does not exceed three thousand
