SEC. 241-a59. Cumulative legislative bulletin.<br />

1 The superintendent <strong>of</strong> printing shall, throughout each legislative<br />

2 session, and commencing with the close <strong>of</strong> the third week there<strong>of</strong>, com-<br />

3 pile and cause to be printed, each week, a cumulative bulletin <strong>of</strong> bills<br />

4 and joint resolutions, which bulletin shall contain a brief history <strong>of</strong><br />

5 each bill, and detailed information as to the status <strong>of</strong> legislation and<br />

6 shall be conveniently indexed. The last issue <strong>of</strong> each bulletin shall be<br />

7 brought down to the time <strong>of</strong> final adjournment and shall be promptly<br />

8 furnished to all members <strong>of</strong> the general assembly and to such others<br />

9 as the superintendent may determine.<br />

SEC. 241-a60. Enrolling clerks to keep records for superintendent.<br />

1 The enrolling clerks <strong>of</strong> the senate and house shall under the direc-<br />

2 tions <strong>of</strong> the secretary <strong>of</strong> the senate and house, respectively, keep a<br />

3 daily cumulative record <strong>of</strong> the information required in the preceding<br />

4 section and in such manner that the same may be promptly furnished<br />

5 to the superintendent at the close <strong>of</strong> each week.<br />

OFFICIAL REPORTS AND DOCUMENTS.<br />

SECTION S41-a61. Official reports—preparation.<br />

1 <strong>State</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficials, boards, commissions and heads <strong>of</strong> departments<br />

2 shall prepare and file written <strong>of</strong>ficial reports, in simple language and<br />

3 in the most concise form consistent with clearness and comprehensive-<br />

4 ness <strong>of</strong> matter required by law, or by the governor. Before filing any<br />

5 report its author shall carefully edit the same and strike therefrom all<br />

6 minutes <strong>of</strong> proceedings, and all correspondence, petitions, orders and<br />

7 other matter which can be briefly stated, or which is not important<br />

8 information concerning public affairs and shall consolidate so far as<br />

9 practicable, all statistical tables. Any report failing to comply sub-<br />

10 stantially with this section shall be returned to its author for correc-<br />

11 tion, and until made so to comply shall not be printed. This section<br />

12 shall not be construed as depriving the superintendent <strong>of</strong> printing <strong>of</strong><br />

13 the right to edit and revise said report.<br />

SEC. 241-a62. Biennial reports.<br />

1 Reports <strong>of</strong> the following <strong>of</strong>ficials and departments shall be for<br />

2 the biennial period ending June thirtieth <strong>of</strong> each even-numbered year,<br />

3 except as otherwise provided, and shall be subject to the following<br />

4 limitations, to wit :<br />
