governor, who shall, by an order indorsed thereon, direct the payment
of the same, and the auditor of state shall issue a warrant on the
treasury for the amount, which shall be paid with any money not
otherwise appropriated, and when paid to the sheriff or person entitled
thereto, the state, through its proper officer or agent, may enter on
the premises and construct the desired work.

SEC. 4968-al. County fair society—real estate—acquisition of.
1 Any incorporated county fair society, county agricultural asso-
2 ciation, or district agricultural associations shall have the power to
3 acquire real estate for the necessary and convenient use of such so-
4 ciety or association in the same manner as is provided by law for tak-
5 ing private property for works of internal improvement in this
6 chapter.

SEC. 4970-al. Courthouses—jails—reversion of lands.
1 When lands that have been condemned and taken under sections
2 forty-nine hundred sixty-nine and forty-nine hundred seventy of the
3 compiled code and under section twenty-eight hundred eighty-eight of
4 this supplement and not used for the purpose herein specified for the
5 period of five consecutive years, such lands shall then revert to the
6 owner or owners of the tract from which it was taken.
