SEC. 3619-aS. County recorder to record.<br />

1 Whenever such ordinance or resolution shall have been certified<br />

2 to the county recorder, then he shall record the same in the miscellane-<br />

3 ous record or other book provided for special records.<br />

SEC. 3619-a3. Index.<br />

1 The county recorder shall index, in the appropriate records, the<br />

2 said ordinance or resolution and the plat filed in accordance with the<br />

3 provisions <strong>of</strong> the second preceding section.<br />

SEC. 3619-a4. Fees.<br />

1 In no case shall it be the duty <strong>of</strong> the county recorder to make the<br />

2 records herein designated except and until the usual and customary<br />

3 fees for such work have been paid into his hands.<br />

SEC. 3660. Annual financial report.<br />

1 It shall be the duty <strong>of</strong> the chief accounting and warrant issuing<br />

2 <strong>of</strong>ficer <strong>of</strong> each city and town, namely auditor or clerk as the case may<br />

3 be, to prepare and to publish the annual report <strong>of</strong> the financial condi-<br />

4 tion and transactions <strong>of</strong> the city or town now or hereafter required by<br />

5 law, and all accounting <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>of</strong> all boards or commission depart-<br />

6 ments and <strong>of</strong>fices whatsoever within the corporate area receiving or<br />

7 disbursing public funds shall file with the auditor or clerk, within<br />

8 thirty days from the expiration <strong>of</strong> their fiscal year, a report in writing<br />

9 <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficial transactions in the form and manner required by law. In<br />

10 case <strong>of</strong> refusal or gross neglect to comply with the law and provisions<br />

11 herein governing the method <strong>of</strong> accounting for and reporting municipal<br />

12 transactions herein referred to, the <strong>of</strong>ficial so delinquent shall be<br />

13 deemed guilty <strong>of</strong> a misdemeanor. The auditor or clerk aforesaid is<br />

14 hereby authorized to institute legal proceedings to enforce the provi-<br />

15 sions herein requiring report to him.<br />

PARK COMMISSIONERS.<br />

SECTION 3668. Additional tax levy.<br />

1 In all cities where said board shall have, prior to January first,<br />

2 nineteen hundred nineteen, acquired property for park purposes, the<br />

3 said board is further authorized to certify to the county auditor in all<br />

4 succeeding years and cause to be collected an additional tax <strong>of</strong> one<br />

5 mill each year up to and including nineteen hundred forty-nine, to be
