3 1. To provide for the inspection <strong>of</strong> milk, skimmed milk, buttermilk<br />

4 and cream, for domestic or potable use.<br />

5 2. To establish and enforce sanitary requirements for the pro-<br />

6 auction, handling and distribution <strong>of</strong> milk, skimmed milk, buttermilk<br />

7 and cream for domestic or potable use.<br />

8 3. To compel the tuberculin test by an accredited veterinarian for<br />

9 dairy cattle supplying milk for human consumption.<br />

10 4. To provide for the pasteurization <strong>of</strong> milk, skimmed milk and<br />

11 cream, except that produced from a cow or herd <strong>of</strong> cows which have<br />

12 been placed and maintained under state or federal supervision for<br />

13 the eradication <strong>of</strong> tuberculosis, provided that, a cow or herd <strong>of</strong> cows<br />

14 shall be considered under such supervision when there is on file in the<br />

15 <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the commission <strong>of</strong> animal health an application for such super-<br />

16 vision, and except that produced from a cow or herd <strong>of</strong> cows which<br />

17 have been tested and found free <strong>of</strong> tuberculosis by an accredited prac-<br />

18 ticing veterinarian.<br />

SEC. 3595-aS. Ordinance in re tuberculin test.<br />

1 Any ordinance requiring a tuberculin test <strong>of</strong> a cow or herd <strong>of</strong><br />

2 cows, whose milk is or shall be sold within the corporate limits <strong>of</strong> any<br />

3 city or town, as provided in the preceding section, shall further provide<br />

4 that if such test has not been previously made, it may be applied at<br />

5 any time within six months from the date <strong>of</strong> the passage <strong>of</strong> such<br />

6 ordinance, and the provisions there<strong>of</strong> shall apply only after the ex-<br />

7 piration <strong>of</strong> said period.<br />

SEC. 3595-a3. Accredited practicing veterinarian defined.<br />

1 For the purposes <strong>of</strong> the two preceding sections an accredited prac-<br />

2 ticing veterinarian is one who has successfully passed an examination<br />

3 <strong>of</strong> the bureau <strong>of</strong> animal industry <strong>of</strong> the United <strong>State</strong>s department <strong>of</strong><br />

4 agriculture and the commission <strong>of</strong> animal health <strong>of</strong> this state and is<br />

5 authorized to make tuberculin tests <strong>of</strong> accredited herds <strong>of</strong> cattle under<br />

6 the provisions <strong>of</strong> section six <strong>of</strong> the uniform methods and rules govern-<br />

7 ing accredited herd work which was approved by the bureau <strong>of</strong> animal<br />

8 industry <strong>of</strong> the United <strong>State</strong>s department <strong>of</strong> agriculture, December<br />

9 six, nineteen hundred twenty.<br />

SEC. 3595-a4. Ordinance conflicting with, state law.<br />

1 Nothing in the three preceding sections shall be construed as giv-<br />

2 ing to such cities and towns authority to adopt ordinances in conflict<br />

3 with the state law, or to abrogate the authority vested in the state dairy<br />

4 and food commission.<br />

SEC. 3619-al. Certification and record <strong>of</strong> ordinance establishing<br />

restricted district, building lines or fire limits.<br />

1 Immediately after the passage by the city council <strong>of</strong> an ordinance<br />

2 or resolution establishing any restricted district, building lines, fire<br />

3 limits, the city clerk shall certify such ordinance or resolution and plat
