SEC. 1951-a3. Transfer <strong>of</strong> inmates.<br />

1 Under the conditions prescribed in the second preceding section,<br />

2 the board <strong>of</strong> control may transfer any inmate in said institution for<br />

3 feeble minded to said hospital for epileptics. It may also transfer<br />

4 feeble-minded persons from said hospital for epileptics to said insti-<br />

5 tution for feeble minded when satisfied that such transfer will be to<br />

6 the best interest <strong>of</strong> the institutions and <strong>of</strong> the inmates.<br />

SEC. 1951-a4. Applicability <strong>of</strong> other laws.<br />

1 All the provisions <strong>of</strong> law relating to inmates <strong>of</strong> said institution<br />

2 at Glenwood, including the law relative to training, instruction, care,<br />

3 and support, shall be applicable to feeble-minded persons admitted or<br />

4 committed to said hospital at Woodward.<br />

CHAPTER 6.<br />

STATE COLONY FOR EPILEPTICS.<br />

SECTION 1984. Per capita allowance—appropriation.<br />

1 The board <strong>of</strong> control <strong>of</strong> state institutions shall fix the per capita<br />

2 allowance which may be charged by the said state hospital and col-<br />

3 ony for epileptics for the care, treatment and maintenance <strong>of</strong> each<br />

4 patient therein, which shall not exceed the sum <strong>of</strong> twenty-four dollars<br />

5 per capita per month, which shall be based upon reports <strong>of</strong> the superin-<br />

6 tendent to the board <strong>of</strong> control and shall be credited to said institu-<br />

7 tion by the auditor and treasurer <strong>of</strong> state upon certificate <strong>of</strong> the board<br />

8 <strong>of</strong> control and may be drawn against as provided in chapter one, title<br />

9 nine ; provided that until such time as the institution is actually treat-<br />

10 ing and caring for four hundred fifty patients the sum <strong>of</strong> ten thousand<br />

11 dollars per month, or so much there<strong>of</strong> as may be necessary, is hereby<br />

12 appropriated out <strong>of</strong> any money in the state treasury not otherwise<br />

13 appropriated for the support and maintenance <strong>of</strong> said institution.<br />
