5 stration <strong>of</strong> vertebral palpation, nerve tracing and adjusting. Each<br />

6 candidate must answer correctly at least sixty per centum <strong>of</strong> the ques-<br />

7 tions propounded in every subject and seventy-five per centum <strong>of</strong> all<br />

8 questions propounded, besides making satisfactory clinical demonstra-<br />

9 tion, to be entitled to a license.<br />

10 When it shall have been determined by the board <strong>of</strong> examiners<br />

11 that any candidate has passed successfully the examination and has<br />

12 made satisfactory demonstration <strong>of</strong> the clinical art, and is a person<br />

13 <strong>of</strong> good moral character, there shall be issued to such candidate a<br />

14 license to practice chiropractic, which must be countersigned by the<br />

15 president and the secretary-treasurer <strong>of</strong> the board <strong>of</strong> examiners and<br />

16 authenticated by its <strong>of</strong>ficial seal.<br />

17 The fee for the license shall be five dollars and shall be paid to<br />

18 the secretary-treasurer <strong>of</strong> the board <strong>of</strong> examiners before the delivery<br />

19 <strong>of</strong> the license.<br />

20 Before any chiropractor shall be allowed to practice his pr<strong>of</strong>ession<br />

21 in this state his license shall be recorded in the <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the recorder<br />

22 <strong>of</strong> the county in which he resides, or practices his pr<strong>of</strong>ession, and the<br />

23 county recorder <strong>of</strong> such county shall record such license and the fee<br />

24 therefor shall be fifty cents.<br />

25 Any one failing his examination shall be entitled to a second<br />

26 examination without further fee, at the next regular session.<br />

SEC. 1326-a25. Qualifications for examinations.<br />

1 Any person shall be eligible for examination who is a graduate<br />

2 <strong>of</strong> a recognized incorporated school or college <strong>of</strong> chiropractic, giving<br />

3 adequate courses <strong>of</strong> anatomy, physiology, symptomatology and diag-<br />

4 nosis, hygiene and sanitation, chemistry, histology, pathology, princi-<br />

5 pies and practice <strong>of</strong> chiropractic, requiring actual attendance for three<br />

6 school years <strong>of</strong> not less than six months each, provided that after Jan-<br />

7 uary first, nineteen hundred twenty-three, every such applicant, for<br />

8 examination, shall submit to the examining board here constituted,<br />

9 satisfactory pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> his possession <strong>of</strong> a preliminary education equal<br />

10 to that <strong>of</strong> a standard high school.<br />

SEC. 1326-a26. Standard school <strong>of</strong> chiropractic defined.<br />

1 Any school or college duly organized and incorporated giving a<br />

2 course <strong>of</strong> study in the following subjects ; anatomy, physiology, symp-<br />

3 tomatology and diagnosis, hygiene and sanitation, chemistry, histol-<br />

4 ogy, pathology, principles and practice <strong>of</strong> chiropractic, requiring an<br />

5 attendance for three school years <strong>of</strong> six months each, is hereby deter-<br />

6 mined to be a standard school <strong>of</strong> chiropractic, and subject, only, to<br />

7 the limitations <strong>of</strong> this chapter, and entitled to every privilege <strong>of</strong> other<br />

8 schools and colleges <strong>of</strong> healing in this state.<br />

SEC. 1326-a27. Applications for examination—fee.<br />

1 Such person shall at least fifteen days before the date fixed for<br />

2 any regular meeting <strong>of</strong> the board <strong>of</strong> examiners make written appli-<br />

3 cation for examination to the secretary-treasurer <strong>of</strong> said board, and<br />

4 shall accompany the same with a preliminary fee <strong>of</strong> fifteen dollars.
