9 one year course <strong>of</strong> training as a surgical assistant in a hospital having<br />

10 at least twenty-five beds for patients and equipped for doing major<br />

11 surgical work.<br />

SEC. 1326-alO. Requirements <strong>of</strong> college.<br />

1 To constitute such school or college <strong>of</strong> osteopathy, one in good<br />

2 standing, the same must in its said course <strong>of</strong> thirty-six months include<br />

3 the subjects following and have same taught for the minimum number<br />

4 <strong>of</strong> hours following, to wit : as stated, described and fixed in the follow-<br />

5 ing section.<br />

SEC. 1326-all. School or college defined.<br />

1 The term school or college <strong>of</strong> osteopathy in good standing shall<br />

2 be defined as follows : a legally chartered osteopathic school or college<br />

3 requiring for admission to its course <strong>of</strong> study a preliminary education<br />

4 equal to the requirements for graduation <strong>of</strong> an accredited high school,<br />

5 and shall further require before granting the degree <strong>of</strong> doctor <strong>of</strong><br />

6 osteopathy, or osteopathy and surgery, an actual attendance at such<br />

7 osteopathic school or college <strong>of</strong> at least thirty-six months or four terms<br />

8 <strong>of</strong> nine months each, no two <strong>of</strong> which shall be given in any one year,<br />

9 its course <strong>of</strong> study to include the subjects and the minimum hours<br />

10 taught in each there<strong>of</strong> as follows :<br />
