Sauvignon (Calistoga). This 100%<br />
Cabernet was grown in a Calistoga vineyard. It was aged<br />
in 40% new oak. At the age of 3½ years, it’s still quite<br />
tannic, even a bit rustic, with zippy acidity and fresh,<br />
jammy blackberry and black cherry flavors. Hard to say<br />
where it’s going, but try aging it for 5–6 years and see<br />

traditional Bordeaux varieties, based on Cabernet Sauvignon,<br />

some irregularities, though, that limit the point score,<br />
such as excessive softness, out of place acidity and a candied<br />
