Manual/automatic switch 734 16
1. Prescribed use
The training panel is a component of the modular training panel system TPS 8.2 for automatic
control technology.
2. Location of use
Operate in dry rooms, which are suitable for experimenting with electrical operating equipment or
installations.
3.4. Description/function
The manual/automatic switch has a summing point (3) with 2 positive (non-inverting) inputs.
The output voltage for the manual potentiometer is applied to the lower input. This can be between
–10 V and +10 V.
There is a deviation indicator behind input (1). The controller output (summer with 5 inputs, cat. no.
734 08) is connected to this input and the actuator is connected to output (2).
After calibration, the control loop can be closed “surge-free” with switch S4 (4).
5. Putting into operation and operating
The device is inserted into the panel frames and connected to a suitable ±15 V power supply
device, e.g. cat. no. 726 86.
6. Technical data
Power supply: ±15 V
Input and output signal range: ±10 V
Manual pPotentiometer ±10 V
