The Netcool/Proviso product suite is comprised of the following four integrated modules that together form a<br />
network monitoring and service assurance system:<br />
• Netcool/Proviso DataMart is a service-level management solution architected for the mission-critical<br />
network needs of network service providers.<br />
It provides scalable data management, storage, and retrieval and integration with the Operations Support<br />
System (OSS).<br />
• Netcool/Proviso DataLoad provides flexible, distributed data collection and data import of SNMP and<br />
non-SNMP data to a centralized database.<br />
• Netcool/Proviso Data Channel provides a set of channel processors and channel management<br />
components for data collection.<br />
• Netcool/Proviso DataView is a reliable application server for on-demand, web-based network reports<br />
derived from the collected network data.<br />
• Netcool/Proviso Application Packs extend the Netcool/Proviso system with service-ready reports for<br />
network operations, business development, and customer viewing.<br />
