our institute. Thus, the existence of two Mycoplasma agents from one tracheal svap sample<br />
belonging to the same chicken will be examined and after the samples are arrived at the<br />
laboratory, the results will be taken in 1-2 days. In this way, PCR can overcome the laborious<br />
conventional cultural methods, and time-consuming serolojic tests. And also, a second<br />
multiplex-PCR will be performed by using more specific primers from M. gallisepticum<br />
positive samples. With the second multiplex-PCR, confirmation of the existence of M.<br />
gallisepticum will be done and whether live M. gallisepticum vaccines are used or not will be<br />
investigated in our country. If the illegal vaccine usage is avaliable, field strain and live<br />
vaccine strain will be comparatively displayed by multiplex-PCR and PCR-RFLP. Besides<br />
being a good example for the further studies, this study being done for the first time will<br />
contribute to our national economy in terms of bringing up breeder flocks which are M.<br />
gallisepticum and M. synoviae free.<br />
