Abstract<br />
The aims of this study were to identify, to determine antimicrobial susceptibity and<br />
mechanisms of resistance of strains, as well as to investigate clonal relations of the E. coli<br />
isolated from lambs and goats with diarrhea. For characterization of diarrheagenic E. coli<br />
presence of specific virulence factors will be tested by multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction<br />
(PCR). The targets selected for each category were eae for enteropathogenic E. coli, stx for<br />
Shiga toxin-producing E. coli, elt and est for enterotoxigenic E. coli, ipaH for enteroinvasive<br />
E. coli, and aggR for enteroaggregative E. coli. Strains determined as pathogen E. coli will be<br />
