Summary: In this project, the presence of viral nervos necrosis (VNN) disease will be
investigated in sea bass farms in the Agean Region. For this purpose larvae and/or juvenil fish
which are obtained from farms will be used. For diagnosis of disease, virus isolation will be
performed on cell culture followed by identification by means of IFAT and RT-PCR. At the
end of study, the presence of VNN disease which cause serious economic loses will be
determined according to study’s result and will be determined control programe against this
disease.
