Abstract:<br />
In a symposium about ‘‘Bee Parasites and Treatments’’ Dr. Nicola Bradbear explained<br />
that Trakya Region was contaminated by A.woodi. But there was no literature or official<br />
reports about it and this information could not be verified. Although it is known that tracheal<br />
mite doesnt exist in Trakya Region it is going on to discovey surveys. Because it is very high<br />
possibility to infection from our border neighbours to our apiaries.<br />
In this study we will find out the spreading situation of tracheal mite on the samples<br />
collected from all around the Turkey. We will make an important study about the situation<br />
and whether or not it exist.Finally we will clarify that the rumours about bee loss in Turkey<br />
was because of tracheal mites.<br />
