Test samples will be collected randomly from the breeding colonies in 30 main queen bee<br />
businesses. We plan to collect 9 queens, 3 frames with larvae, and 300 honey bees from each<br />
colony per main queen bee business. The samples will be innoculated and go through the<br />
microscopic examination in order to isolate and identify the agents. Thus the bacterial, fungal,<br />
parasitic and viral agents in important diseases in the main honey bee businesses will be<br />
studied.<br />
