(iii) Specially designed clothes to meet the unique needs<br />

of the individual, (e.g., clothes designed to prevent access<br />

by the individual to the stoma, etc.);<br />

(iv) Assistive technology items;<br />

(v) Computer software used by the individual to express<br />

needs, control supports, plan, and budget supports;<br />

(vi) Augmentative communication devices;<br />

(vii) Environmental adaptations to control lights, heat,<br />

stove, etc.; or<br />

(viii) Sensory stimulation equipment and supplies that<br />

help an individual calm, provide appropriate activity, or<br />

safely channel an obsession (e.g., vestibular swing,<br />

weighted blanket, tactile supplies like creams and lotions);<br />

(l) Specialized supports;<br />

(m) Speech and language therapy services;<br />

(n) <strong>Support</strong>ed employment; and<br />

(o) Transportation.<br />

(7) CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE. The brokerage must arrange <strong>for</strong><br />

supports purchased <strong>with</strong> support services funds to be provided:<br />

(a) In settings and under contractual conditions that allow the<br />

individual to freely redirect support services funds to purchase<br />

supports and services from another qualified provider;<br />

(A) Individuals who choose to combine support services funds<br />

to purchase group services must receive written instruction<br />

from the brokerage about the limits and conditions of such<br />

arrangements;<br />
