The company<br />
Kobold Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH has been manufacturing artificial-light<br />
and daylight lamps as well as accessories for TV, cinema, broadcasting, and<br />
video since 1955. Thus, Kobold Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH has access to<br />
decades of experience in technology, handling, and design.<br />
In 1999, the assets of Kobold Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH were acquired by<br />
the newly founded company <strong>Bron</strong> KOBOLD GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary<br />
of <strong>Bron</strong> Elektronik AG of Allschwil (Switzerland).<br />
Kobold is a competent advisor in all lighting applications. Manufacturing<br />
and engineering as well as quality and safety standards are constantly<br />
reviewed and enhanced to meet new needs. For this reason, Kobold products<br />
are becoming more and more popular among users around the<br />

lamps (HMI) and electronic ballast units for commercial photography applications.<br />

between the two companies is the compatibility of bron and Kobold lamps<br />
