I was commissioned by the residents<br />
to present a colour scheme for the<br />
complex. I consulted with the team at the<br />
Newmarket <strong>Resene</strong> ColorShop and came<br />
up with a colour scheme that represents<br />
the integrity of the building.<br />
My preference was to present an<br />
understated, harmonious colour palette<br />
that complemented the beautiful gardens<br />

Colours: <strong>Resene</strong> Nomad, <strong>Resene</strong> Pravda,<br />

<strong>Resene</strong> Homegrown<br />
surrounding the complex. It was important<br />
to consider the structural references of<br />
the building, copper hoods, spouting,<br />
garage doors and window joinery. Equally<br />
important was the light reflectance of the<br />
finishes.<br />
The final colour scheme sits well with the<br />
specifications and surrounding urban and<br />
park environment.<br />
