Spring PARADE OF HOMES Twice each year, the Bismarck-Mandan Home Builders Association (BMHBA) organizes an event that gives us all an opportunity to view a wide variety of new homes in our area. If you are in the market for a new home or just interested to see what’s new in home building, the 2009 Spring Parade of Homes on April 18-19 and 25-26 is the event you can’t miss! This year, there are 36 homes on the schedule, some in each price category. The home builders will again showcase their By Wes Engbrecht abilities so you can decide what features you must have in your new home. A listing of the homes and directions to each are located at the BMHBA website (www.bmhba.com). Carol Vondracheck, BMHBA executive officer, is optimistic about the attendance at this year’s event. She says “In the past, we have sold around 4,000 tickets, and I don’t think that will change much this year. A lot of people are interested in new home features, even if they’re looking for remodeling ideas for their current home.” April 2009 45
