PERFORMANCE AND BENEFITS TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS
This device is designed to give cross direction activity to the stock in the forming zone of the Fourdrinier, which allows
changing the orientation of the fi bres (contained in the paper stock).
SPECIAL FEATURES
The stroke can be mechanically adjusted by means of angular position of the rotating masses.
The shaking device is controlled by a control cabinet. The controls are gathered on the operator screen.
The use in combination with a carbon fi bre breast roll permits to reach higher shake numbers for the same force as a
standard metallic breast roll, together with a reduced power consumption.
In order to reach high values of stroke at high frequencies, ABK customizes each shake unit rod in terms of mechanical
strength. Doing so, the range of frequency and stroke is optimized according to the customer needs.
Our shake unit design integrates the lubrication unit together with its piping. This makes the unit very compact and
easy to install.
Recoiless Shake Unit
The inertial ABK shaking device consists of one basket hanging inside a main guard. This one is connected to the
breast roll by means of one axis and hanging by bars.
Two pair of off-centred and unbalanced loads are independently driven by two motors and angularly dephased ; the
resulting force generates the back and forth movement of the breast roll. As no vertical force is created by the shaker
and because only the inside basket is moving and not the main guard, no effort is transmitted to the civil works.
The lubrication of the equipment is assured by a greasing plate consisting of pump, fi lter, exchanger, sensors permitting
the continuous lubrication of the bearings and the gears.
The unbalanced loads are driven by means of two servo-motors, the frequency depends on the number of revolution
and the amplitude is a function of the phase-shift angle between the two pairs of loads. The 2 bottom and top loads
are synchronized by gears.
